We are currently seeking for a young, dynamic, and self motivated Head Waiter or Head Waitress who will organize and direct a team and develop top quality, fast and efficient food and beverage service. 



    Job Description
    • Follow our Cycle of Service at all times, and be fully familiar with every beverage and dish served in the venue in order to provide correct information/recommendations to guests when asked
    • Ensure that the service is performed in a professional manner and in accordance with the style as specified by the Floor Manager
    • Supervise cleaning of the agreed designated areas in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements
    • Assist with mise-en-place through distribution of tasks and to ensure the monitoring and completion of tasks is done properly and within the time allocated
    • Ensure dirty or damaged checkered napkins are counted and exchanged for clean, usable items
    • Take responsibility for service in the designated area of the Restaurant during the shift
    • Assist the Floor Manager in the preparation and presentation of training programs, briefings and SOP’s
    • Monitor sideboards and stations and ensure they are adequately stocked with replacement cutlery, napkins or other established needs, be they food or equipment
    • Supervise the taking of order by the waiters from customers and ensure these are given to the appropriate person to execute
    • Be totally familiar with the composition of all menu items
    • Supervise the serving of food and beverages in accordance with laid-down standards, but above all in a professional, courteous manner
    • Ensure that the tables maintenance is always respected and that our guests are always at ease and comfortable when sat down at the table
    • Ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer, in accordance with the procedures of the establishment
    • Be aware of and practice good customer relations at all times and assist the guest in any way which does not adversely affect other customers
    • Redirect customer complaints to the Restaurant Manager/General manager
    • Carry out on-the-job training to ensure subordinate staff can carry out their duties effectively
    • Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress code
    • Ensure that any subordinate staff adhere to, and maintain the highest possible standards of personal hygiene and dress code
    • Attend meetings and training courses as required
    • Report any suspicious packages or parcels to management without delay
    • Take part in any fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits, including those normally used by customers, as well as fire escapes
    • Make sure all records for floor department are always up to date on the start and end of the shift (including: floor set up/break down checklists, fire exit checks, floor cleaning checklists etc.)
    • Carry out any other reasonable request asked by the management

    Desired Candidate Profile
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or ANY related field
    • Proven experience in a similar role
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Attention to detail and ability to work with initiative
    • Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
